Personal Profile Picture – 500 x 500 (Maximum)

The personal profile picture for LinkedIn is very straightforward. This is the main image that represents you on your personal profile. So anytime someone takes a look at your profile for some quick info, this is the prominent image that represents you.

Banner Image for Brand Pages – 646 x 220 (Minimum)

The banner image is one of the newest and most prominent of the images that you can use on LinkedIn. This image appears when a user visits your brand’s homepage. Since this image is located on your homepage it’s likely the visitor is actively searching for your brand, so use this opportunity to reel them in with a great image.

Standard Logo – 100 x 60

One of the two brand logos that you should be uploading to LinkedIn is the business logo. This is the bigger of the two and is going to show up right next to your brand name on your LinkedIn homepage. This image also appears in the “Companies you may want to follow” section, so the more enticing the photo the more likely the followers!

Finding great people to come work for your company is one of the most important aspects of LinkedIn. You can have a separate tab that is solely based on career opportunities at your company. You can use this space to choose a picture that speaks to your company in order to attract some great potential employees.

Adding a Homepage Image or Logo to Company Pages

How do I add a homepage image or logo to my Company Page?

If you're a Company Page administrator, you can upload a homepage image or logo.
Here are the file requirements:

BannerImage - Minimum 646x220 pixels, PNG/JPEG/GIF format, Maximum 2 MB, Landscape layout (image should be wider than tall)
Standard Logo - 100x60 pixels (image will be resized to fit), PNG/JPEG/GIF format, Maximum 2 MB, Landscape layout (image should be wider than tall)
Square Logo - 50x50 pixels (image will be resized to fit), PNG/JPEG/GIF format, Maximum 2 MB. Note: The square logo is used on the network updates.

To upload the image or logo:

Create your image file. You can crop larger images after uploading, if necessary.
Click Edit at the top of your Company Page homepage.
Locate the Image or Logo section and click the Add image link or Edit (whichever is present).
Click Upload to attach your image file, and click Save.
Click Publish in the top right of the page.

Note: If your image won't upload, make sure that your image is the correct size or slightly larger. Smaller images will not upload. Also, make sure the image is wider than it is tall
